I have personally made the botanical paper and the mineral‑based casein emulsion, creating an abstract landscape that feels ancient.
Soft greens, muted blues, and warm earth tones appear along with the torn, organic edges enhance its archaeological presence, as though it could have been unearthed. The piece holds a sense of place without depicting any single location, offering the impression of a land remembered.
